Obituary for Sharon Rae Pierce

Sharon Rae Pierce
Submitted and written by family.

Sharon Rae Pierce was born In York, Pennsylvania on March 6th, 1943 to
Betty and Morgan Amsbough, who died in the second world war fighting for his
country. She attended Marjorie Webster College in Washington DC where she
worked in retail until having her son, Craige Bennett, at the age of 25. Sharon
moved to California with Craige when he was 8 years old. Shortly after, she met
the other love of her life, Alan Francis Pierce. Alan brought along two sons, Keith
and Kirk Pierce, who became Craige’s little brothers when Alan and Sharon wed
on July 28th, 1984.
Sharon wore many hats: devoted wife, loving mother, aunt, sister-in-law, and an
active member in many charitable organizations. She brought awareness and
helped many suffering from breast cancer by donating her time to the Susan
Coleman Foundation in Riverside County and was also an active member for the
Pilots Club, which offers services to women and children in need. Sharon had a
tremendous impact on those around her, acting as a second mother to many of
her sons friends and a lifelong best friend to a lucky few.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 33 years, Alan Pierce, her three sons,
Craige, Keith and Kirk, as well as her 5 grandchildren, Brooke, Mason, Kate, Cali
Jo and Lilly.
