Obituary for Deserrae Jovan Fischbach

Deserrae Jovan Fischbach

Deserrae was born on December 20th 1964 in Chicago Illinois. She was the eldest of three children born to Kenneth and Joyce Anderson. As a daughter of a Navy family, Deserrae moved often, but spent the majority of her life living in California, mostly San Diego and Alameda. She attended and graduated Encinal High School in Alameda in 1983. In 1984, she met the love of her life, Christopher Fischbach. The two always believed their meeting was fate. Shortly after the two began dating, Deserrae moved away. However, distance could not keep them apart and within weeks they were back together quickly becoming inseparable. In March of 1985, Deserrae and Christopher were married. Soon after she began a family giving birth to Christopher Jr. in 1985 followed by twin sons Sean and Aaron in 1990.

A devoted wife and mother, in 1989, Deserrae moved to San Diego. In 2001, she moved to Murrieta, California where she lived for the remainder of her life. Deserrae loved people and worked in the casino industry as a Title 31 tax compliance revenue auditor. She performed this job at both Barona (1993-2006) and Pala (2007-2012) casinos finally leaving the industry in 2012.

Deserrae was truly a giving, kind spirited, easy going, loving wife and mother who had the ability to positively impact others. Anyone who met Deserrae never forgot her as she always left a lasting impression. Her close friends have said, “She could light up the room with her smile.”

Deserrae is survived by her father Kenneth Anderson; mother Joyce Anderson, brothers Kenneth Anderson Jr, and Maurice Anderson.

Deserrae is also survived by her husband of 33 years Christopher Fischbach, sons Christopher Fischbach Jr., Sean Fischbach and Aaron Fischbach. Daughter In-Law Tracy (Ferido) Fischbach and Granddaughter Aaleia Fischbach.
