Pablo Bernal Santos died in his sleep on September 1, 2018, in Murrieta, California. He was born January 15, 1931, in Manila, the son of Hermogenes and Filomena Santos. A devout Catholic, husband and father, Pablo immigrated to America in 1969 with his wife and children while serving as a defense contractor to the U.S. Military in Southeast Asia and the Pacific. He was later blessed with the opportunity to contribute to the success of several business ventures with a small group of loyal gentlemen. Using his Faith as his compass throughout his life, Pablo provided the spiritual guidance to his family with a calm and compassionate demeanor teaching his children kindness and true mercy to be bestowed on those less fortunate.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Ramon, his daughter-in-law Judy and his granddaughter Gianna. He is survived by Alice, his wife of 57 ears, his daughter Karina and her husband Chris, his son Rico and his wife Margaret, and sons Albert, Hernan, and Elmo. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Clarissa, Denise, Francesca, Luisa, Antonio, Gabriela, Noah, Bo, Rosa, Isaac, Luke, Eliana, and Joseph. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Atong, Desi and Johnny, and 3 sisters, Carmen, Cora and Chita.
A Mass for Pablo will be held at 11:30AM, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Martha’s Catholic Church, 37200 Whitewood Road, Murrieta, CA 92563, Tel: (951) 698-8180.
