Annie was our neighbor and close friend for the last 45+ years, and we consider her, Richard and Patrick our family. She made friends easily and chatted with anyone she met; soon after we moved in next door she popped her blond head up over the wall and said “Hi, I’m Annie”-ever since that day we became close friends and “partners in chaos”. We shared so much love and heartache over the years. But we also learned so much from this great lady. She was like a Mom to my boys, Philip and Aaron and always interested in what they were doing. She would babysit them when they were little, send them on fishing trips with Richard and Patrick, open here pool for them to swim anytime, and it wasn’t unusual for them to just hang out at her house and sleep on her couch. Her generosity was to be emulated, she had a huge heart. She was the force that caused me to became a garden lover due to her love of nature. We cherish the Memory of Annie McSherry Hannigan, and Thank her for all the laughter and joy she brought to us over the years. We will miss her terribly. Our thoughts, sympathies and love are with Richard and Edda, Patrick and Christine, Junie, Caitlin and Ryan.
With Our Love and Cherished Memories,
