Alexandro (Alex) Torres age 93 of Sun City, California passed away on May 2nd, 2025.

He was born on March 2, 1932 to Manuel & Nellie Torres and grew up in Somerton, Arizona.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. At the age of 19, and became  a paratrooper. Alex completed 21 combat jumps and was awarded 3 bronze STARS for his valor and service.

He enjoyed getting coffee with friends, and spending time with his walking group.

Alex was an avid jazz fan, loved nature and animals. He enjoyed giving back to his community by volunteering at his local food bank.

Alexis survived by his four children and two grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A service with military honors will be held on Thursday, May 29th at 11 AM at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
