Dean (Dino) Harrison

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Dean Harrison, lovingly known to family and friends as Dino, who left us peacefully at the age of 85 on June 25, 2025, surrounded by those who meant the most to him.

Born in South St. Louis, IL, Dino was a man of extraordinary strength–both physically and in character–with arms of titanium and steel. Known for his resilience, steady presence, and deep commitment to his family, he lived a life built on hard work, love, and integrity. Dino was immensely proud of his Greek heritage. He cherished its culture and faith, honoring the traditions of his ancestors while passing his stories down with pride and love.

Family was the cornerstone of Dino’s world. A devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, husband, father and grandfather, he was the heart of every gathering, a consummate entertainer, never leaving a glass or heart unfilled.  The source of strength in every storm, and the first to lend a hand or share a laugh.

He will be remembered as a larger than life, intensely outspoken, man’s-man. A natural born leader, with a ready wit, a playful nature, contagious passion for the things he loved which he shared with generosity of spirit and ease.

He is survived by Catherine Harrison, his loving wife of 25 years; his children Sandia Harrison, Michelle Harrison, Carrie Krutsinger, Constantine Harrison; grandchildren Carsten Luth, Mia Luth, Penelope Leo, Ruby Richards, Kai Polivka, Mack Polivka and Brooks Harrison; Catherine’s family, Tynette Hills (Mother), Lauren and Rich Surace, Jennifer and Larry Epstein, his nieces and nephews and countless friends and relatives who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

A celebration of Dean Harrison’s life will be held at his home in Murrieta on Sunday, August 17, 2025, commencing at 2:00 pm.
