Pamela (Pam) was born November 2, 1943 to Bertha Viola (nee Ferrie) and Christian Beyer at Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She was raised with her siblings Robert and Diane in Long Island, NY and Nutley, NJ, where she graduated from Nutley High School. Pam married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Martin Danek Sr. and they settled in Old Bridge, NJ, where they raised their three children.
Pam had a passion for academics, excelling in mathematics. After raising her three children, she achieved her educational aspirations when she graduated from Rutgers University, earning a BS degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Pam had a successful career as a software engineer for AT&T/Lucent and Loral Skynet for nearly 20 years. Pam continued her education throughout her career and received her MS Certificate in Satellite Communications from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Volunteerism played a large role in Pam’s life. She was a troop leader for her daughters’ Girl Scout troop and shared her mathematics gift as a tutor. Pam was also a devoted Christian. She was heavily involved in her church and choir, serving as a Sunday School Teacher at Messiah Lutheran Church in Sayreville, NJ and following Pam and Bob’s move to Murrieta, California, singing in the choir at Hope Lutheran Church.
In retirement, Pam stayed busy traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and the community of friends she made in California. Pam made many cross-country trips with her husband to the East Coast to visit their family and friends. She also made multiple trips abroad, even fulfilling her high school dream of traveling to Paris.
Pam is survived by her adoring husband of 62 years, Bob; children Karin, Susan and Robert Jr; their spouses; and grandchildren Emily, Megan, M., and Matthew as well as many dear friends and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her infant grandson Ruben.
