Don’t remember me with sadness.  Don’t remember me with tears.  Remember all the laughter we’ve shared throughout the years.  Now I am contented that my life was worthwhile.  Knowing that I passed along the way I made somebody smile.  When you are walking down the street and you’ve got me on your mind, I’m walking in our footsteps only half a step behind.  So please don’t be unhappy just because I’m out of sight.  Remember that I’m with you each morning, noon and night.

My first met Brandon at Lancaster State prison on the PPF yard and I was happy to meet a young man from my neck of the woods. Brandon was always respectful to me. Brandon always showed me kindness. Brandon always had laughter in whatever conversation we were having as I close my eyes now I can still hear him laughing his little giggle. Brandon and I transferred to Ironwood State prison together and I was happy to be there to shelter him and give him advice and to be a friend to him, and at the same time he brought me comfort and familiarity and friendship. He always listened to all my conversations. He’s the same age as my daughters and when I would speak to him, I would always try to speak to him as if I was speaking to one of my own children. It saddens me greatly to see his life ended so shortly Brandon had a huge future ahead of him a family that loved him friends that admired him. Brandon, I want you to know that you will be missed and you will not be forgotten wherever your soul may be please hear the voices of those that love you.
