Brenda Susan (Taylor) Jaeger, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025 surrounded by family at her home in Temecula, California. Brenda was born March 15, 1939, in London England. At the age of eight her family moved to Toronto, Canada where they lived for five years before settling in Southern California. While working for General Dynamics, she met her forever companion, Richard Dale Jaeger, who was in a training program for the US Navy. They were married in 1960. Together, they built a life rooted in commitment and love. They raised their family in West Covina, CA then later built their home in Temecula, CA where they have lived for 35 years.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she and Dale served a mission in the Nauvoo Illinois Temple. Brenda and Dale also served in the San Diego Temple presidency. She loved spending time serving in the temple.
She enjoyed traveling with her dear husband, friends, children and grandchildren to locations in Europe, Caribbean, Mexico and Hawaii.
Her life was full of faith, service and dedication to her family. Brenda loved when her family was all together, sharing good food, laughter and games (that she usually won).
Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Dale; her children, Curtis Jaeger (Marilou Frye), Leslie (Jaeger) Scott (Derek Scott), Craig Jaeger: as well as fourteen beautiful grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Gloria Phipps, Scott Taylor and Todd Taylor(Sidney). She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Susan Taylor and brother Wayne Taylor.
Brenda will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery, where she will be remembered during a small family gathering. As we honor Brenda’s life, we invite all who knew and loved her to join us in a celebration of life on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 6-8pm at the Jaeger residence in Temecula.
