On December 13, 1957, Cathie Lynn Allen was born to Billie K. Allen and William C. Allen, Jr. in San Diego, California.  Cathie was proceeded in death by her mother (Billie Kistler Allen) and her father (William Cowston Allen, Jr.).  Cathie Lynn Allen-McCoy passed away on May 28, 2024 in Murrieta, California after a long fought battle with cancer.

Cathie moved to Riverside, California in 1970.  She was educated in the San Diego Unified School District and the Riverside Unified School District.  She graduated from Arlington High School in 1976.

At an early age Cathie developed a love of animals, particularly horses and later rabbits.  After graduating from High School she continued developing her horse training skills in addition to schooling young and adult riders in the equestrian arts.  She moved to Perris in 1980.  Cathie also raised rabbits for meat, pets, and show, which demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit.

While in Riverside Cathie met the love of her life, Warren McCoy.  In 1994 they married and lived in Perris California until the day of her death.  This union was blessed with one son, Osborne Warren Allen-McCoy.

In later years Cathie enjoyed working with plants.  She developed an interest in gardening and landscaping which evolved into her love of flowers, ornamentals, and vegetables.

In addition to her husband and son she leaves, to mourn her passing, brothers Darren Allen in Thornfield, Missouri; Mike (Lisa) Allen in Versailles, Kentucky; David (Gina) Allen in San Diego, California as well as a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives, and friends.

Her presence will be sorely missed by all.
