A life rooted in faith, devoted to family, and lived with boundless love, kindness, and grace.

In Loving Memory of Consuelo “Connie” Coyne

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Consuelo “Connie” Coyne, who passed away at the age of 91.

Born in Los Angeles, to her amazing parents Carlos and Consuelo Canez.  Connie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Connie’s deep Catholic faith was a cornerstone of her life.  Instilled in her by her parents from an early age, it remained a constant source of strength, comfort and guidance throughout her 91 years.  In both life’s joys and its challenges, she leaned on her faith with quiet confidence and grace.  Her belief in God’s love shaped the compassion, generosity, and resilience she shared with everyone around her, leaving a lasting example for her family to cherish.  She had an incredible spirit that drew people to her, and she made everyone she met feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Her kindness, strength, and joyful outlook on life left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

While Connie enjoyed a successful career as an accountant, her greatest accomplishment and deepest joy was being a mother. She lovingly raised five children and embraced three stepchildren with an open heart, creating a family that continued to grow through 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Nothing brought her more happiness than gathering with the people she loved and celebrating life’s everyday moments together.

Connie also found joy in the things that brought people together. She loved playing tennis, and gathering with her dear friends for a game of bridge. Whether with family or friends, she cherished every opportunity to connect, laugh, and create lasting memories.

One of the places where Connie found her greatest peace was the family ranch in Hollister.  She took immense pride in caring for the beautiful property, helping maintain the rose bushes around the arena.  She especially loved spending time with the horses, finding comfort in their gentle presence and loved watching the magnificent dressage horses she helped care for compete in shows.  One of Connie’s most endearing gifts was her extraordinary connection with animals.  They seemed to recognize her gentle heart, responding to her with immediate trust and affection that was truly special.  The ranch wasn’t just a place to her; it was a home she created where the family could gather and also enjoy.

For the last seven years of her life, she lived with her daughter and son-in-law.  Those years were filled with the comfort of family, surrounded by those who cherished her most.  She remained a constant source of warmth, wisdom, and laughter, sharing stories, offering encouragement and creating precious memories that will be treasured forever.  More than anything she valued the time spent with her family, all of the children, grand children and great grandchildren and those years we all shared became a gift to everyone who loved her.

Connie’s legacy is one of unconditional love, generosity, honesty, resilience, and grace. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she shared will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered by her children, stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, dear friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral Mass services will be held on Monday, August 10th at Saint Martha’s Catholic Church, 37200 Whitewood Rd., Murrieta, CA 92563 at 10:00am.  The family warmly invites all who knew and loved Connie to an open house reception immediately following the Mass, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the home of Dan & Karen Valladares to gather in celebrating a remarkable life well lived, we will share stories, laughter, and cherished memories.
