September 18, 2023

Dale Laverne McGuire was born to William and Marian McGuire in Morrill, Kansas on August 16, 1931. He had two older brothers and two older sisters: Evelyn, Kenneth, Mildred and Gerald.
In 1951 Dale was married to Louise Fern Curtis, and soon welcomed their first child, Debbie. Their family later grew to 6 with the birth of Kim, Dan, and Kelly.
Dale McGuire passed away on September 18, 2023, surrounded by his wife of 72 years and family. He was dearly loved.
Dale’s career success was with Allstate Insurance. He was known for his accomplishment as a top business producer specializing in commercial insurance. His retirement in 1994 led he and Louise to a full-time residency in sunny California.
Dale wore many titles: beloved husband, dad, pop, brother, father-in-law, grandpa, gramps, grandpaD, friend and trusted business leader.
Through the years, Dale, enjoyed traveling, helping sons and daughters with home projects, and spending time with family. He had a passion for golf, which he played until he was 90. Other passions included his outings with his sweety, Louise, his Lakers, Pro football, an afternoon porch swing, and Shark Tank.
Being a grandpa came naturally to Dale. He loved nothing more than holding a small tot on his lap. Their face-to-face interactions brought great joy to him, and those of us fortunate enough to be a part of the moment. As they grew up, he loved hearing of their adventures and details of their lives.
Dale is survived by his devoted and loving wife Louise, his oldest daughter, Debbie, and son-in-law, Mark, daughter, Kim, and son-in-law, Michael, Dan, and daughter-in-law Teresa and son Kelly, 11 grandchildren: Michael(Jamie) Shawn(Valerie) Spencer(Katie), Jeffrey(Carley) Barret(Jackie) Conner(Lillian), Dallas, Drew, Tyler(Abby), Kailie(Roland) and Jesse(Alexa), 10 great grandchildren: Taylor(Andrew), Jacob, Tayler, Alivia, Jeremy, Reese, Ryan, Finley, Mila, Hayes, and one great, great granddaughter, Olivia.

What amazing memories I have of the last 30 years spent with my father in law (pop) The number one thing that I think of is his unconditional love he showed for his children and grandchildren. He supported you through the good and the bad. He was always there to lend a hand. We will greatly miss his compassionate love. His last few minutes of his life were spent telling each and every child that he loved them. Our last good-bye to each other was the peace sign and the word's "peace out" and a beautiful smile... You will be in my heart forever.....

He was the best grandpa ever! Id go spend summer's with him and grandma in Washington. He would take us fishing to the trout farm. Took us in so many trips, the ice caves, downtown Seattle, Snoqualmie Falls. He always asked how I was wanted to know everything I was up to. He helped me so many times. I will miss you everyday grandpa!
