Gilda O. Marchante passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 16, 2025, at the age of 99. A devoted educator for more than 60 years in Southern California, Gilda touched countless lives through her teaching, her compassion, and her wisdom. She was cherished not only by her many students but also by her friends and family, who will forever hold dear the memories they shared with her.

Her life was truly a blessing, and she will be profoundly missed.

Family was the heart of Gilda’s life. She was blessed with a son, two daughters, 13 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished and loved.
