Dear Patricia, Sofia, and Ariana, I write this with a heart full of gratitude and sorrow as we remember Jerry, not just as a key figure in our professional realm but as a cherished friend. His fond nickname for me, “Mr. Santa Ana,” always brought a smile to my face, encapsulating the warmth and camaraderie that defined our relationship from the very start at ROVE. Jerry’s unwavering integrity and infectious enthusiasm enriched every project and conversation. Beyond the boardroom, his genuine kindness and spirited laughter brought light into our lives. He was more than a colleague; he was a beacon of joy and a true friend whose presence we deeply miss. His stories about you, Patricia, Sofia, and Ariana, were filled with such pride and love—it was evident that his world revolved around his wonderful family. I consider myself privileged to have known Jerry, to have laughed with him, and to have been inspired by his visionary spirit. As we honor his memory, please know that my thoughts are with you during this time of loss. Jerry’s legacy is a tapestry of meaningful connections and achieved dreams, woven with threads of kindness and resilience. With all my affection and deepest sympathies, David E. Perez.
