Lonnie worked in the Corrugated Industry for 44 years which he retired from in 2012. One of his Sons followed in his footsteps working in the same industry. He loved going camping in the desert and mountains with his family and grandchildren. He spent countless hours walking the desert with his grandchildren, teaching them how to ride a quad or a sand rail he owned. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart and would always brag to others on how proud he was of each and every one of them. He also loved watching and cheering for his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers football team. He tried and tried to convince his grandchildren to become a “Steeler” fan but no one ever converted. One of his last favorite pass times was being able to watch his great grandchildren play Little League Baseball games as he would cheer them on. He also loved watching his Western shows and the News, his interest in politics were strong too. Later in age, Lonnie started collecting coins.
