To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord 2 Corinthians 5:8

On Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 3:43 pm, our Beautiful, Courageous and Loving Momma and Grandmother, Margaret Virginia Reed Herring took the hand of Jesus and went Home to Glory. She bravely and with dignity fought a 14 year battle with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Margaret was born in Long Beach, CA on January 18, 1942. She was raised in Anaheim, CA, graduated Anaheim Union High School June of 1960 and married her High School sweetheart in July 1961. In 1980 Margaret along with her husband and daughters moved to Lake Elsinore, CA. In the late 1990’s she worked at House of Fabrics for many years. Margaret was a wonderful seamstress, a master quilter who volunteered her time making quilts for Quilts of Valor, and love working in her rose garden. She was creative, loving, generous, and had a wild sense of humor. Margaret was a wife to Daniel G. Herring (passed 7/18/2007), a mother to Catherine Leseberg and Patricia Rosenquist, a grandmother to Trinity, Danelle, Amanda, Mason, Cynesige, and Caleb. As well as a great grandmother to Knox, Nixon, and Pollux. Margaret will be forever in our hearts, loved and missed by us all however, we are grateful for her peace. Rest easy Momma.

As per Margaret’s request there will be no services.
