Mary Jane Norris – September 28, 1942 – April 25, 2026
Mary Jane Norris was given her angels wings on April 25, 2026.
Mary passed peacefully at the age of 83. Her family and friends are in great sorrow, but they know she is in the loving hands of the lord and all who have passed before him.
Mary was born to Homer and Helen Wilson parents on September 28, 1942, in Canton Ohio. Mary married the love of her life on December 15, 1960, Larry Norris. Larry and Mary shared an incredibly close bond, they lived, loved, and cherished each other every day of their lives for over 60+ years. There was never a day without an “I love you” and a kiss in the morning and a kiss every night.
Mary graduated from to Glenwood High School in Canton Ohio. Mary went on to attend nursing school in Canton and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse specializing in psychiatric adolescents. Mary had the most compassion and caring for her patients that made her a truly wonderful nurse until her retirement in 1981.
Mary and Larry truly enjoyed their retirement, mainly just being perfectly content in their beautiful home in the Colony with their beloved dogs Clifford and Buddy and family.
For all of you who knew Mary you know she was the kindest, loving, easy going, funny, lady, wife, mother, daughter and friend. This earthly world has shed many tears, but we know we will be with her again in heaven.

Mary is survived by her cherished children Daniel Norris and Theresa (Norris) Snyder. She was a hands-on loving Nana to Mitchell, Matthew and Marshall whom she adored, and they will never ever forget how she helped to guide them to be the fine men they are today. she is also the proud great grandmother to his six great granddaughters: Kaydence, Madison, Madilynn, Evelyn, Brooklyn and Reagan.
