Rosa Alberdi Mills passed away peacefully on March 15, 2023, at the age of 86. Rosa was born on May 26th, 1936 in San Diego, California to parents Frank and Rosa Alberdi. Rosa worked for Pacific Bell phone company before she owned two hair salons while married and eventually went on to work for Scripps Clinic and the Scripps Green Hospital for many years. Rosa enjoyed working for Scripps until her retirement at the age of 75. While working for Scripps Rosa made many friends and enjoyed working with the public. Rosa’s children Daron L. Mills and Tamera L. Aden from her marriage (1958-1976) to Everett Mills brought her so much joy in her life. She enjoyed spending time with her extended family sharing holidays, family gatherings and always being the best dressed to a party. In her spare time Rosa enjoyed shopping, listening to music, gardening, and going to the gym and lunch with her friends. She always adored beautiful cars and loved driving her Camaro, Mustang, and Corvette as often as she was able, often with Frank Sinatra playing on the stereo. Rosa is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Rosa Alberdi, her sister Marylou Alberdi and her nephew Frankie Gillespie. Rosa is survived and missed by her two children Daron L. Mills and partner Marilyn Wiedemann, Tamera L. Aden, and her husband Alan A. Aden. Forever cherished and remembered by her grandchildren Ashley A. Beck and Andrew A. Aden and their spouses Nathaniel Beck and Nicole Aden. Her memory lives on with her great-grandchildren Camryn Stewart, Ava Aden, and Avery Aden. Graveside services to be determined and held in San Diego, California at Holy Cross Cemetery.
