Ruth Ann Beckius

Ruth was born November 9, 1946, in Omaha Nebraska to Helen Welch and Ben Welch. Ruth was raised around the Schuyler area. She graduated from Schuyler Central High in 1964. Ruth married Ronald Beckius Sr. in Schuyler in 1964. They had been married for 26 years. Ruth was a hard worker and worked at the western café for many years and was known for her amazing food and service. She then moved on to Cargill solutions for several years after. When she retired in 2010, she enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids as well as her great grand kids. In her free time Ruth enjoyed cross stitching, reading and loved watching HSN. In the last few years of her life, she moved to California in order to be closer to her children.

She is proceeded in death by her mother and father, Helen and Ben Sr., brother Richard Welch and Ben Welch.

Ruth Beckius is survived by her five kids in order William Beckius (Judith), Sandra Boswell (John), Ronald Beckius Jr, Son Jason Beckius (Allison) and youngest daughter Carey Solis (Antonio). As well as her many grandkids and great grandkids, her sister Helen Welch and other family members in Nebraska.

We can be so thankful for the plans that our God has in store for us in the very near future. It can be found in John 5: 28 an 29. Here he tells us of the ressrection of our loved ones. Q: What will you never forget about Ruth? A: I will never forget when my Grandma took the time out of her days when I was in elementary school to help me with my English assignments and sat there until I understood what I was learning. I love and miss you Grandma. Love Ducky
