Sandy was born in Cleveland, OH on October 07, 1951 to Lenzie and Alvilda Thomas.

Her family relocated to southern California during her teenage years where she stayed until her passing on May 14, 2025. During her life, she enjoyed family, friends, and fun. She had a contagious smile and laugh that will not be forgotten. Her presence will always be missed and her absence felt deeply by those who loved and cherished her.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ken Thomas and Ron Thomas, sister Brenda Thomas, and husband Gary.

She leaves behind many that loved her including her children, Brian Dempsey (Julianna) and daughter Danielle (Oz), brother Jerry Thomas, grandchildren, Isabella Saucedo (Brian), Gwyneth Dempsey, Sophia Dempsey, Owen Sanchez, Zander Sanchez, and one great grandson, Sebastian Saucedo.
