Our mother, Patricia Buis aka Chipa, was born in Argentina and the best mother, friend, and wife. She was an amazing housewife, married for 48 yrs to her husband Carlos, mother of 5 children, and a cancer fighter. My mother had the biggest heart. She loved getting up in the morning & sipping her coffee enjoying a sunny day. My mother enjoyed the simple things in life such as: appreciating being alive & being able to take a breath, enjoying each day with her loved ones, being passionate about River Plate, believing in things like: Pilato or some objects that appeared in her path such as a rock she found in the fire pit. And because of that rock, we would win the World Cup, and we did. She loved her margaritas at 6 pm and her cats – mom had many cats in her life.
My mother was a blessing & the best mother a daughter could ask for. Among all the things my mother taught me the one thing I hold onto the most is that she always told me to enjoy the present moment & people – to not fixate on the things of irrelevance and most of all, to be happy. That’s the life my mother lived & I am blessed to have been a part of her life. I love you mom and I will never stop trying to make you proud!! ♥️
