Janet (age 12) and Edie (age 11) went to a birthday party, where we met a girl named Peachie (age 12). The three of us hit it off immediately, and from that day on, through middle school and high school, we were constant companions. We navigated our adolescence and the ’60’s together, as a team. Peachie (the smart one) always questioning and making proclamations, completely unraveling the norms of the day. After all, “When you think about it, who cares what you do as long as you don’t hurt anybody.” We laughed, we played and oftened ventured where we shouldn’t have, but, we always did it together and we were all the better for it. Time separated us physically, but never spiritually. We became the adults we are, because of the connection and love we had through those formative years. That doesn’t go away with death. Always in our hearts and our souls. Love you with everything, Janet and Edie
